Introducing: The Adventures of Mighty Owen !
Born at 32 weeks and a tiny 880 grams, Owen entered the world earlier than the Roehrs Family expected, and not long after, was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Autism.
Experiencing countless therapy sessions and doctor’s visits, the Roehrs family found writing their story would better help with understanding the journey they were on, especially for Owen and his older brother Liam.
Hence The Adventures of Mighty Owen was born, written by Melbourne mum Emma with both Owen and Liam contributing greatly to its creation.
Wonderfully illustrated by Mighty Owen, the story follows him and his friends as they embark on an adventure to stop evil Lord Angry Pants.
This book is a fun, inspiring read, and gives friends and family an insight into what it’s like processing and understanding disability from the eyes of Mighty Owen and his experience with it.
